NoBS Apps builds small mobile and web applications that solve specific everyday problems. Each app describes its own job clearly. We do not run ads, we do not sell user data, and we do not pretend to be more than we are.
If you ask us to build something — and we believe it can reasonably be built — we will build it, ship it, and you will get free access for as long as the app is running. This is a real promise, not marketing copy.
The fine print: apps cost real money to keep online (servers, app store fees, third-party API charges). We can't promise "lifetime" because we can't guarantee an app stays profitable enough to keep running. As long as the app is up, your free access is good. If we ever have to shut an app down, we'll give as much notice as we can.
Some NoBS apps have a paid subscription tier. The general rules:
You may use any NoBS app for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
What it does: Tells you where movies are available to stream, rent, or buy on third-party services. We do not host or stream any video. Tapping a "Watch" button takes you to the third-party service, which has its own terms.
Subscription: $4.99/month or $29.99/year (subject to change with notice).
Free tier: Limited number of searches per month. We may change the limit at any time.
Accuracy: Streaming availability comes from a third-party data source and can be wrong or out of date. If a listing is wrong, please report it. We are not liable for missed showings or incorrect availability.
NoBS apps are provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of an app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using any app at any time by deleting it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Daniel Shepherd resides. Any disputes will be resolved in those courts.
If we change these terms materially, we'll update the date at the top and notify subscribers in-app where applicable.
